Why our own banner
A banner being visible is not the same thing as consent.
Many cookie banners show a box but let Google Analytics and the Meta pixel load anyway. Others are fetched from a foreign service and add yet another script to the website. And the policy text is often a template that does not match what the website does.
We built Tokig Privacy for the websites we host ourselves. The banner loads from your own domain, blocks the scripts until the visitor has chosen, and the policy is built from the list of services the website actually uses.
Test your site
What does your site send before the visitor has answered?
Enter your address. The test loads the site as a new visitor and shows which signals Google receives, and whether Meta, LinkedIn or other tools send data before anyone has clicked in the banner. It takes 30–60 seconds.

The banner loads from your own website, not from a third party. One script fewer, and no visitor data going to yet another company.
Blocking
No tracking before a yes
Statistics and advertising scripts wait until the visitor has chosen, including those added via Google Tag Manager. If they say no, the scripts never load, and no script is allowed to send data to a service the visitor has said no to.
Consent Mode v2
Google Ads and Analytics receive the visitor’s choice via Consent Mode v2. Google requires this for measurement and ad personalisation to work for visitors in the EEA.

Consent log
Every choice is saved for three years as proof of consent, without an IP address. Visitors can see their own consent ID, and if a new service is added, visitors are asked again.

The cookie policy is built automatically from the list of services, and the privacy policy is filled in with the company’s details.
Fonts
Google Fonts from your own server
Fonts can be loaded locally, so that the visitor’s IP address is not sent to Google just to display text.

As easy to say no as yes.
The buttons to accept and reject are the same size and visible right away. The choice can be changed at any time via a link in the footer.
