Tokig Reviews: collect Google reviews after every job

Enter the customer’s email address when the job is done. Tokig Reviews then sends the question in your name, with a link straight to your Google profile. The text, the sender and the timing are set in advance, and every customer gets the same question.

The problem

You mean to ask. Then the next customer calls.

In our experience, few customers say no to writing a review. They are just never asked.

So the problem is not the customers, and not the text. It is the ninety seconds between the job being finished and you sitting in the van. If the question does not fit in there, it never fits in.

Why it never gets done

Reviews age. Faster than you think.

Three out of four consumers look for reviews from the last three months. One in three wants to see the last two weeks (BrightLocal 2026, US consumers).

Fifty 5-star reviews from 2021 therefore do nothing for someone choosing tonight. It is not the number that expires. It is the date they were written. Drag the slider and move time forward.

Reviews age. Faster than you think.

Drag the slider and move time forward. The blue box is the window the customer looks at.

review the customer counts too old

The number on the right is the number of reviews within the last three months. Nothing has been removed in the top row; the reviews have just grown old.

Compare yourself with competitors

How far behind are you, and how long will it take to overtake them?

You see straight away how many reviews you are missing, how recent yours are compared with your competitors’ and how many months it takes to overtake them when every customer is asked.

Search Google for your service and town, and enter your numbers and the businesses shown next to you. Leave a row empty if you compare with fewer. The example values are made up. The numbers stay in your browser.

How it works

One field to fill in. The rest is done in advance.

1

You enter the contact details

The customer’s email address, and their mobile number if you have it. It takes ten seconds.

2

The question is sent

First an email in your name, with your text, at the time we have set. Anyone who has not opened the link gets a reminder, by text message if needed.

3

The customer clicks

The link goes straight to your Google profile. No form in between, no extra steps.

4

You reply in seconds

When a new review comes in, you get an email, and a text message if needed. You reply straight from there, and the reply is posted on your Google profile. You also see which customers have been asked, and when.

Everything to the right of the first step is set up once and then runs by itself.

The dashed line is the one you do not see, and the most important one. Every send is linked to a completed job and a real customer's contact details, with a timestamp. The log shows which customers were asked and when, and that everyone is asked. It does not show who wrote a particular review, but it helps you show that you do not pick only the happy customers.

What it brings

Google says so itself.

“More reviews and positive ratings can help your business's local ranking.”

Source: Google, help page “Tips to improve your local ranking on Google”.

So there is a way into the map results that does not cost ad money. Reviews are also something AI assistants can take into account when someone asks for a business in the area.

And they do the job once the customer has found you: a company with twenty fresh reviews looks like a company with customers.

Honestly

Four things it does not do.

Choose who gets asked

Everyone gets the same question, even the customer who was unhappy. Google prohibits selective collection, and the Swedish Marketing Act prohibits misleading handling of reviews.

Remove bad reviews

No one can. But one bad review among twenty fresh ones looks like a company with customers. On its own, it looks like a verdict.

Write the review for the customer

We put no words in anyone’s mouth and never ask anyone to mention a particular thing or employee.

Promise a response rate

We do not know how many of your customers will write. We will not claim more than that.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask

We are happy to show you what the request looks like when your customers get it.

Yes, and Google encourages it. What Google prohibits is offering a discount or gift in return, asking only the happy customers and telling the customer what to write. We do none of that.

No. Google calls it selectively soliciting positive reviews and prohibits it. In the EU, it can also count as misrepresenting consumer reviews, which the Swedish Marketing Act prohibits.

You are told straight away and can reply calmly and factually, without logging in anywhere. In our experience, a low rating with a calm, factual reply does less harm than an unanswered one.

The request goes out by email first. If you have the customer’s mobile number, the reminder can go as a text message.

That is up to Google. Google checks reviews and can hold some back, for example when many come in over a short period. Nobody can control that, which is why we do not promise how many will show.

Yes. Writing a review on Google requires a Google account. It can be created with any email address.

After every completed job. A one-off push gives a peak that is gone in six months.

Send us the link to your Google profile. We set up the templates, the sender name and the timing, and test it on our own number first.

Next step

See what the customer sees.

Half an hour where we look at how you ask for reviews today, what you have on Google now and how the question would be worded in your name.

We call you back

Leave your name and number. Someone from the team that works on this will call you back within one working day.
